The IF5 Quad Tester Multiplexer can multiplex three Kelvined leads (source/emitter, drain/collector, gate/base) of four individual testers to a single set of DUT leads. The IF5 is designed for applications where the leads of two FETtest testers, along with leads from one or two special function testers produced by other ATE manufacturers, are multiplexed to a single DUT contactor site for single insertion testing. Multiplexer relay control, external tester interface, binning, and digital control of the automated handler are all maintained by the FETtest systems.

All switching relays in the IF5 are contained in a box that can be mounted on or near the handler. The three Kelvined DUT leads are brought out to a standard banana jack pattern on the IF5 for hand insertion applications.
